Soon after the highly expected global announcement, Line Games has announced the release of Destiny Child. This mobile game is now available for Android and iOS in 164 countries and five languages, after its initial release in Korea and Japan in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
Destiny Child is a CCG featuring over 300 characters (or ‘childs') for the player to collect, each one with their own story and abilities. All the characters are animated using Live2D technology and were designed by reputed illustrator Hyung-tae Kim, CEO of Destiny Child's developer ShiftUp. He is also known for creating the art style for the MMORPG Blade & Soul.
Apart from the campaign, Destiny Child features other game modes including story dungeons, boss raids and PvP, as well as daily missions.
To celebrate the global launch, there is an ongoing event called Devil Festa, where players will be rewarded with items including a 5-star character summon scroll and 10,000 onyx.
