Disney Heroes assemble in new game Disney Heroes: Battle Mode

There's a new hero team coming soon to your mobile later this year, as some of Disney's heroes are gathering to punch some corrupted digital butt in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode. PerBlue is developing this game for Disney with the target being the mobile platforms Android and iOS.

You'll have to assemble a team of five Disney heroes and battle against an enemy team comprised of corrupted digital creatures, with the ultimate goal being to save the internet. With new Disney movies coming soon such as Wreck-it Ralph 2 and The Incredibles 2, announcing this game is perfect timing and a marketing dream. Obviously, characters from these movies are available in the game, with over 30 heroes to choose from. Zootopia is another franchise that is included, with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde making an appearance, and there is also Toy Story.

If you pre-register, you can win one hero of your choice at launch from the following: Mr. Incredible, Fix-It Felix, Jr., Sulley with Boo, Jessie, or Nick Wilde. Apparently, each hero is worth $15, so this should be telling of the average price for new heroes.

Disney Heroes: Battle Mode isn't exactly my cup of tea gameplay wise, but recruiting popular Disney characters can be a huge plus for any game.
