Dragon Raja eighth class is a mysterious music-based character

We haven't talked that much about Dragon Raja lately, but that doesn't mean that Archosaur's MMORPG isn't alive and kicking. Recently, the global version saw the release of the Auto Chess mode, enabling you to use your favorite game characters as pieces in a game of chess. Since Dragon Raja already broke down some boundaries with the introduction of a battle royale mode, nothing seems off-limits… thankfully, we might add. Now we're bringing you the news of the Dragon Raja eighth class, a musical-based character that is being teased in the China version.

The eight class is coming to Dragon Raja China in Autumn 2020, according to a recent update post. This is what the devs offered as a teaser for the class:

“This autumn, he/she will give you the most beautiful concert and the most unforgettable encounter.”

Not very enlightening, is it? However, the game now features a silhouette of the upcoming class, which reveals a bit more about its style and focus, as you can see in the image above. We can see a female character, but as you know by now, Dragon Raja has no gender lock, so you can pick a male instead. There's a clear sci-fi approach to the design, and we would dare to say that there's a bit of a Hatsune Miku vibe to her.

The audio equalizer bars give away the music focus, and now we can only imagine what kind of skills this class is going to use. Music-based classes definitely are a rarity in MMORPGs, but we can think of a few games that have tried it, but we're not talking about the run-of-the-mill Bard. Skyforge is one of those MMOs, with the support class Soundweaver. Other game that has tried its luck at music classes is Atlantica Online, with its Maestro character.

We'll keep an eye out for the full reveal of the Dragon Raja eighth class. The global version is only missing the Puppeteer class, not bad for a version that launched in February 2020.
