Breach is in trouble as developer QC Games closes

Breach QC Games shutting down

It's getting harder and harder for an online game to find its footing nowadays. Along the way, many games fall without ever reaching the stages of official launch and sadly QC Games' 4v1 dungeon crawler Breach may be one of the next.

Breach is in paid Steam Early Access since January and failed to convince a significant player base, despite its undeniable qualities – our alpha playtest was a lot of fun. Ultimately, QC Games didn't have the luxury to further develop the game as it announced that “today is the last official day for QC Games, as we begin winding down internal operations on Breach.”

While Breach will remain online for now, the ability to purchase QC Points or the Breach Starter Pack will be turned off tomorrow, which doesn't bode well for the future of the game – in all honesty, unless other developer picks it up, the game will shut down soon. Additional info about player accounts and – possibly – refunds will be detailed soon in an updated article.

Our hearts go to everyone at QC Games affected by this sad situation.
