DUST 514 is the ambitious free-to-play MMOFPS from CCP Games that ties in with the colossal EVE Online sci-fi MMORPG. This PS3 exclusive is now set to launch on May 14th on PSN.
Although the decision not to release DUST 514 on PC was a bit odd at first – seeing that EVE Online is a very successful PC title –, this shooter seems set to attract a lot of players, even more knowing that it’s one of the still very few F2P games on Sony’s console. Having players tip the balance of EVE Online by attacking bases on DUST 514 seems very appealing, so let’s hope it’s done right.
DUST 514 is currently in open beta, so try it if you haven’t until the official launch on May 14th.
