En Masse Entertainment is closing down Alliance of Valiant Arms, a.k.a. AVA, a once popular shooter that was originally released in 2007 in Korea. En Masse acquired the AVA publishing rights in September 2016, but our crystal ball always told us that this wasn't a game to last for ages.
Now, the TERA, Closers and Kritika publisher is announcing the closure of AVA on June 29, 2018, with a farewell event in-game planned. The game isn't accepting any new accounts or characters, and DLC downloads from Steam are also disabled. The Buy EMP buttons in AVA are disabled, and all prices in the shop have been adjusted to €1. If you want to go with a bang, then this is your opportunity.
Funny enough, there will be a final AVA update releasing on May 9, suitably titled the Honorably Discharged update.
