Civilization Online is no more – this action and strategy game based on the classic series created by Sid Meier is going to shut down on December 7, 2016. This creation of XL Games, makers of ArcheAge, didn't prove popular enough to keep it going and CEO Jake Song decided to give the harsh news to players today.
An Asia exclusive – at least to begin with, although no western release was ever announced -, Civilization Online may potentially return with a renewed focus on gameplay, or at least that's what we assume from the Korean statement.
