Ubisoft just announced Tom Clancy’s EndWar Online, a free-to-play MOBA game that is described by the developer as a next-gen browser game. This game is in development by Ubisoft Shanghai for PC and Mac, scheduled for 2013 and beta sign-ups are now open at the official website.
EndWar Online is a spin-off of Endwar, an interesting strategy game released in 2008. In EndWar Online, action takes place in the aftermath of World War 3 with rival factions (European Enforcers and Russian Spetsnaz) fighting for what’s left of the world’s resources. Besides tactical multiplayer combat, there are also single-player missions. There are 10 unit types in the game so far, ranging from tanks to helicopters and players will have more than 80 hero units to manage.
Ubisoft stresses that players have access to the complete experience without spending a dime, but that comfort options and cosmetic changes may be purchased if they wish to.
Between EndWar Online and End of Nations, which is the MOBA you’re looking for the most?
