Red 5 Studios is working on the much anticipated free to play shooter Firefall and they’re very serious about it. In case you had any doubts the Mobile Gaming Unit is coming to run them over.
The MGU is a massive 48-foot-long gaming center on wheels that will be shown during this year’s Anime Expo. Designed by the team at West Coast Customs, the MGU has a look inspired by Firefall and is fully equipped for eSports play with 20 AMD powered gaming stations, Razer peripherals, support for 1,000 person LAN parties, and even a shoutcaster podium with full live streaming support.
The Anime Expo is also the opportunity for fans of Firefall to meet a couple of heroes, Typhon and Mourningstar, in cosplay. The online manga written by Orson Scott Card and Emily Janice Card based on Firefall is also going to be shown at the Expo.
Firefall is in the beta phase and only a few lucky players are able to enter through invites. Sign up to try your luck at http://www.firefallthegame.com.
