Fortnite Battle Royale hits new concurrent players record, when will it stop?

This is getting out of proportion. Epic Games has just announced a new peak of 3.4 million concurrent players on Fortnite Battle Royale achieved last Sunday.

The downside to this is that you're breaking their game, guys! So many players “caused 6 different incidents between Saturday and Sunday, with a mix of partial and total service disruptions to Fortnite.” This blog post tells you all about it, and Epic Games is hiring people to work on these Fortnite issues and other “efforts”.

This Fortnite Battle Royale peak is slightly higher to the one achieved by Playerunknown's Battlegrounds (3.1 million players), and while this is bringing in a lot of money, you shouldn't forget that Fortnite BR is free and PUBG isn't, so this definitely helps a lot.
