Fortnite Battle Royale is taking the fight to the Nintendo Switch starting today. You can download Epic Games' successful title for free on the Nintendo eShop.
The Switch version is similar to the game that you know – and probably love – from the other platforms. The gameplay is the same, as well as the map, content, and updates. Players can team up in the same room or play on the go. And the best of all: Fortnite Battle Royale features cross-play with Xbox One, PC, Mac and mobile devices.
But… isn't there something missing? Actually, no. Once again, Sony is keeping its PlayStation 4 out of the fun, for some reason. Apparently, they claim it's something related to being able to keep a safe environment for players, if I recall properly, but when even the eternal family-friendly Nintendo is okay with it…
Oh well. It's not like you won't be finding players to face in Fortnite Battle Royale anyway.
