Fortnite is hitting new highs with a profit of $318 million in a single month, May 2018, according to Superdata. However, I'm pretty sure that everyone at Epic Games is breaking down right now, as the research firm states that the growth is slowing down.
Fortnite made this profit across all platforms, with the majority of growth coming from consoles. The revenue for both mobile and PC remained flat when compared to April. Of course, with the recent release of Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, it is highly likely that the game will reach another high in June.
The report also mentions that Pokemon Go generated $104 million in May, with a player base increase to the highest level since its 2016 peak. As for Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human, the PS4 exclusive sold 291,000 digital units in May, which is not a bad start.
