Fortnite has just entered Early Access today, Epic Games has announced. A mere four days after the head start of the paid Early Access, Fortnite is now available in paid Early Access… again. Our brain hurts.
We're not completely sure where exactly Fornite is sitting right now, but we do know that you can get into the game by purchasing a Founder's Pack. Prices start at $39.99 and go up to $149.99. so take a pick. Or you can wait until 2018 when Fortnite transitions to the planned free-to-play business model.
Epic Games has shared a few of its plans for the future of Fornite. This includes an overhaul of the UI, adding more tutorials, working on game balance, and “building a sustaining model that is fair, respects your time investment and has a well functioning economy.”
You can watch the Fortnite launch trailer below. Although it will only launch in 2018, so this should be called the “Fortnite early access launch trailer”. We're confused.
