After what looked like an excruciatingly long development time, Minh Le – co-creator of Counter-Strike – and his team are finally ready to reveal the release date of their free-to-play MMOFPS Tactical Intervention.
A few players will be able to join a closed beta that runs from March 4 through March 8 (get a beta key here while they last), while the open beta runs from run from March 14 to March 25. Tactical Intervention launches March 28, 2013.
For those who don’t know already, Tactical Intervention is a free-to-play online first-person shooter where Minh Le tried to include some ideas that he couldn’t get into Counter-Strike. Stuff like attack dogs, driving and shooting out of the window, rappel and more.
