Game of Thrones MMO not dead? Bigpoint is hiring

We won't judge you if you said you've completely forgotten that there was a Game of Thrones MMO in development at some time. Bigpoint managed to grab the rights to one of the hottest IPs out there, and three years later, it's still going strong, even with an episodic game by the experts at Telltale Games.

Back to the MMO (and we're not talking about Game of Thrones: Ascent), which even had the official title announced with big honors: Seven Kingdoms. However, we weren't actually thrilled by the first gameplay trailer neither by the fact that it was going to be a browser-based game.

Anyway, fast-forward three years and Develop is reporting that Bigpoint is hiring, including for the Game of Thrones MMORPG, which means that at least the game probably isn't dead. How much it has changed during the years is completely unknown though, and we're also a bit concerned about Bigpoint's ambition when it comes to something like Game of Thrones. We'll wait and see how it goes.
