Globe-trotting Global Adventures closed beta is now live

Right on schedule, the Global Adventures closed beta is now live. SubaGames has just made the official announcement a few minutes ago.

The Global Adventures closed beta will be the first time that you – and us, for that matter – will have the opportunity to play this arcade action MMO game. Don't get too fond of your characters, as the end of the beta will be greeted with a huge, relentless data wipe, as the developers want to add “a lot more features” and proceed to do some adjustments based on your feedback. It seems that there will be some reward incentives for those who help test out Global Adventures during the closed beta.

And guess who just wouldn't miss the “party”? Founder's Packs, of course. There are three tiers waiting for you, in case you want to support the game right away. Our advice: hold on for a while to get a few opinions, and ours as well, obviously.

Oddly enough, the Global Adventures closed beta features a cash shop with items that are exclusive to this beta – this means that these items that you buy will be wiped as well, along with your progress. Your compensation for spending $25 or more in the cash shop (and seeing it eventually disappear into oblivion) is an exclusive Gold Fish mount that won't be available after closed beta. If this sounds like your kind of deal, then go ahead.
