NCsoft is going to close WildStar servers on November 28, 2018, putting a time stamp on the previous shut down announcement. It was four years of fun and quite a bit of turmoil at developer Carbine Studios.
With a couple of months to go, NCsoft wants to let WildStar players know that all real money purchases are disabled and refunds for purchases will be processed by October 3. The final update was released today, and some seasonal in-game events make a return, certainly for the last time.
