Sad but predictable: Hyper Universe on PC is shutting down in December

We saw this one coming miles away. Nexon has just announced that their side-scrolling MOBA Hyper Universe is shutting down in December 19, 2018. However, the shutdown is only affecting the PC version, as Nexon mentioned that the recent Xbox One release will remain unaffected. For how long, we ask? With the imminent shutdown of the Korean servers, the writing was on the wall for the western release of Hyper Universe.

Hyper Universe will remain available to play until the closing date via the Nexon Launcher and Steam, but there will be no more updates. Starting November 15, the cash shop will not be available anymore. As for refunds, items purchased between August 18, 2018 and October 19, 2018 will get a full price refund, but purchases made after this announcement will not be refunded.
