Fans of Kritika Online are in for a disappointment. En Masse Entertainment has announced that the South Korean anime brawler is going to sunset in the west in April 30, 2019. This means that you have a couple of months to play the North American and European versions of Kritika before the servers shut down.
Kritika Online is already in maintenance mode since yesterday, March 6. New account creation is disabled, you can't spend EMP (En Masse Points) within Kritika, and you can purchase everything that you ever dreamed of from the in-game shop, as all items are now free.
The Dimensional Leap event will send Kritika away in style, while introducing you to other En Masse games – with rewards. If you want to keep brawling, Closers is your best choice, although it's a side-scroller brawler; TERA is the action MMORPG that everyone probably knows by now, and there's the new 4v1 dungeon crawler Breach, but this one isn't included in the event.
Oddly enough, En Masse has reached out to Kritika Online's developer Allm to get you a starter pack (school uniform, pet and a few items) in case you want to start over at the Korean Kritika service. Of course, the language barrier may be a tiny problem, but it's done with the best of intentions.
