Netmarble has revealed the new Marvel Future Revolution MMORPG, an open world mobile game featuring a third-person camera and controls akin to the genre. With a story written by Marvel Comics writer Marc Sumerak, who's responsible for Avengers, Iron Man, and many other stories, the game is set in a new Earth called Primary Earth.
Players are a part of the recently formed Omega Flight Super Hero team, battling hordes of of Super Villains (Red Skull, Baron Mordo, M.O.D.O.K., Red Goblin, and more) and protecting the universe. The first superheroes to be revealed are Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Dr. Strange, each one featuring several versions that fans of the comics will surely recognize. Many heroes are coming after these, with the likes of Iron Man and Hulk being some of the best candidates for a role in this game.

Netmarble is also responsible for Marvel Future Fight, an isometric mobile RPG that is about to celebrate its fifth anniversary. With the Marvel Future Revolution MMO, the famed studio is aiming for a niche that is yet to be properly filled, which is the mobile superhero MMORPG. Besides, the Korean company has created other mobile MMOs such as Lineage 2 Revolution and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, so they don't lack the expertise.
With recent mobile MMORPGs such as Dragon Raja and Black Desert Mobile showing that you can have an enjoyable experience in your smartphone, here's hoping that this Marvel MMO follows suit.
The Marvel Future Revolution MMORPG release date is yet to be announced, but our guess is that it is going to launch before the end of 2020. While there isn't a proper gameplay trailer, you can check several trailers below introducing the starting heroes, locations, costumes, and more, created with in-game footage. We have to admit that it looks impressive, so let's wait for a beta test to see how it performs. The official site is live right now.
