Webzen has just announced that the MU Legend open beta is going to begin this September. The global MU Legend beta will bring a whole new set of features which will be revealed in detail during the next few weeks on MU Legend's Facebook page.
The MU Legend open beta will feature several languages (English, French, German, Polish, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese), with the team continuing to work on polished translations. MU Legend will feature four classes during open beta, which are the Dark Lord, Whisperer, Blader and War Mage, with more to come later – the fifth class is the Emphasizer and the sixth class, clearly a mage of sorts, was already teased via artwork. MU Legend features a main storyline in PvE, but there are plenty of side-quests as well as PvP.
A server stress test is going to happen during the summer, and players will be able to test the servers to get them ready for the open beta. More info about this test will be revealed during the coming weeks.
Dennis Czybulka, COO at WEBZEN, commented: “The September MU Legend OBT launch for the global audience has been decided with two fundamental aspects in mind: entertainment and quality.” He continued: “As a team of gamers ourselves, and taking into account the feedback from our Korean version of MU Legend, we have decided to tickle the very end of the summer for a global release, which will contain many more features than previously thought. The MU Legend team is now putting in a lot of hard work to provide the best game delivery possible. I'm very proud of the commitment they have shown, involving several departments and hundreds of passionate people utilizing their technical and gaming skills.
We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”
