Naruto Slugfest global release date revealed by new publisher

New publisher Mars Games is bringing the new open world anime MMORPG Naruto Slugfest to players all over the world. First announced for SEA territories by GameSamba, this official game is now going to reach North America, Europe, and South America for Android and iOS. The Naruto Slugfest global release date is scheduled for this spring, which means that we're but a few months away from launch. Naruto Slugfest is free to play with optional in-game purchases.

Naruto Slugfest offers a rich and vibrant open world realized in full 3D and with many cutscenes to drive the story forward. Being an official game, it includes the original voice actors of the anime and follows the storyline of Naruto Shippuden. One of the features that was announced is called running commentary, a function that allows players to leave comments and reactions. This is probably similar to the commentary function we get in Dragon Raja, and while some players are bound to like it, others will probably reach out to the off button in order to avoid spoilers.

The four Naruto Slugfest classes available at launch come with their own set of skills. You can play as an Earth Keeper, Blazing Lotus, Thunder Assassin, or Wind Shooter. These are respectively the assault, support, assassin, and ranged classes. As you may have noticed, you won't play as a popular character from the anime; instead, you are going to meet them throughout your story progression, by recruiting them as allies to assist in battle. Combat in Naruto Slugfest is dynamic and fast-paced, with many skills to unlock and use.

Technically speaking, Naruto Slugfest's 3D cartoon world offers dynamic lighting, a day and night cycle, weather effects, and color saturation to give it a look that is faithful to the anime.

There are several activities for you and your friends to partake. Besides the Naruto Shippuden storyline, you can play Team Missions, Tower Missions, Chunin Missions, Ninja Scrolls, and huge guild wars.
