It's great to see that KOG Studio cares about its global fans, releasing tutorial videos with English descriptions or subtitles for its anime brawler Kurtzpel. Today we get an extended version of the lore video that was released nearly a year ago. Man, time really flies.
The new prologue video clocks at around four minutes and tells you the dark, twisted events behind the game. Apparently, there is a cult that thinks this peaceful family is communicating with Kurtzpel, which probably is some kind of evil deity – we don't know for sure. Suddenly everything snowballs and amidst the violence, the father is killed and the mother has to escape with her first born – we have no clue what happened to the other child, who actually looks like the younger one, but anyway. It all ends with a huge blast and a couple of strangers saying that they were too late, only to find new hope on the inside of an ancient temple. Whatever that shining light could be, we don't know.
This prologue really leaves us with a lot of questions to go with the ones that I have for quite some months – when will Kurtzpel enter beta testing and why is that English announcement taking so long?
