One Piece Online 2: Pirate King, the sequel to One Piece Online, has just entered closed beta. If you want to play this anime MMORPG right away, don't worry though – it's one of those open closed betas where you just have to sign up for free and you'll be playing in a minute.
You should know by now just how these browser MMO games go, but here's a refresher. You pick a character and go on completing quests, recruiting team members and improving their skills so you can battle other characters and watch your battle rating (or battle power, in this game) getting higher and higher. Pretty familiar stuff that fans of the One Piece manga will probably like, but other players will be left a bit cold (to say the least) with these mechanics.
We'll work on a One Piece Online 2: Pirate King first look gameplay video, of course, so you can watch if you want to try this game.
