Do you fancy a trip to New Zealand? Are you a fan of Path of Exile? Well, lucky you, you can kill two birds with one stone.
Er… That is quite a horrible saying, don't you think?
Anyway, back to the matter at hand. Grinding Gear Games is following on the footsteps of other popular games such as EVE Online and Quake and has announced ExileCon, a convention for everything Path of Exile. This convention will take place over two days (November 16-17, 2019) in Auckland, New Zealand, so unless you are from Australia or something, be prepared for quite a long flight.
The ExileCon will be the place for Path of Exile announcements, previews, competitions, chatting with Grinding Gear Games staff and demos of unreleased new content. It will end with a bang, or rather a “spectacular party.”
Tickets are already available in different tiers: Regular, VIP and Ultra VIP. Or were, as only 309 Regular tickets are currently available, with all the others being sold out. That was fast!
Each Ultra VIP ticket sold for an impressive $1,000 USD, but considering that you get a “home-cooked kiwi-style BBQ dinner with GGG Founders Chris, Jonathan and Erik and maybe a few special guests”, I can see why the tickets are all gone. Some people really love their BBQ dinners!
Anyway, this is a great idea for Path of Exile fans and judging by the ticket selling speed, it is going to be a huge success.
