It's been quite some time since we last heard of Peria Chronicles, the highly anticipated anime sandbox MMORPG from Nexon and Thingsoft. The last proper glimpse that we had of this game was during G-Star 2016, when a rough demo impressed everyone who was able to give it a try.
Now, a game journalist and indie developer that goes by the name of Ordin posted some fresh details about the state of Peria Chronicles and its future plans. Obviously, take it with a grain of salt, but hopefully it will turn out to be true. Ordin says that they have worked with Nexon and attended several events and press conferences, gathering a lot of info about the game. He mentions that he played a bit with the G-Star 2016 Peria Chronicles demo, and that it is possible to create elaborate systems through pre-made assets, but you can create even more in-depth things if you are familiar with programming.
According to a Peria Chronicles fan Discord, a closed beta could happen in Winter 2018 and a release during 2019. Let's hope that we get some official news soon.
