Sega just revealed that Phantasy Star Online 2 will see a release in North America and Europe in early 2013, adding to the original announcement for Japan, where the game is already available.
The free-to-play game Phantasy Star Online 2 is a sequel to the game that virtually introduced the online multiplayer RPG to consoles and now Sega is trying a comeback with the added push of the F2P momentum and the promise of an adventure that changes every time players log in, pretty much in the same imaginative and unpredictable way of great tabletop RPG experiences.
There’s still no specific release date but the teaser site is open at www.pso2.com and we have the announcement trailer below.
