Phantasy Star Online 2 PC launch date officially revealed by Sega

Phantasy Star Online 2 PC launch date

After a vague timeframe, Sega strikes back with another vague date announcement for PSO2. The Phantasy Star Online 2 PC launch date has been confirmed, and it's not the late 2020 release date that was initially hinted at. Xbox One players have been enjoying this anime action MMORPG, but it looks like PC players won't have to wait that longer to get their hands on this game. Judging by the feedback from console players the eight-ish years of waiting were worth it… well, sort of. It's eight years after all, not the usual couple of years that it takes for an Eastern MMORPG to reach North America and Europe.

But I digress. The Phantasy Star Online 2 PC release date is set for late May 2020. The reveal was made today in a press release and on the official website, as the Xbox One version officially releases. Touted as a cross-platform game, Phantasy Star Online 2 cross-play between PC and Xbox One is going to be available by late May, by the time of the Windows 10 version release. The Xbox One launch is naturally filled to the brim with events and rewards.

That is all fine and great for North American Phantasy Star Online 2 players, but what about Europe? Sadly, Sega hasn't said a word about a release in the old continent, so you'll have to sit tight and wait for further news.
