Play Star Citizen for free for a week, fly every ship

Cloud Imperium Games' Star Citizen is arguably the biggest game crowdfunding success story and has just surpassed the $200 million mark. That's quite an impressive number, even knowing that the campaign is running since 2012.

To celebrate the release of Star Citizen’s first explorable planet, Hurston, a Free Fly event will allow everyone to play Star Citizen for free during a week. Starting November 23 and running until November 30, you'll have the opportunity to try out every ship and operable vehicle for free. Star Citizen is one of the most ambitious games ever devised, coming from the mind of Chris Roberts, legendary designer behind the Wing Commander series. It is also often badmouthed as vaporware, since it has been heavily delayed – it was expected to launch in 2014 – but the increased scope means that it could be worth the wait.
