If you have been wondering when you could get your hands on Breach, the new IP from independent studio QC Games, they have the answer. Read on to learn more about alpha tests, betas and potential release dates.
Breach is this co-op dungeon crawler where four players go against one dungeon master, in the same spirit of the canceled games Fable Legends and Shadow Realms. After a couple of showings at Gamescom and PAX West, players will be able to try Breach starting the second week of September on Steam. However, this will be a very limited Technical Alpha Test, which means that the invites will be very sparse – less than 300 people for this test alone. A few more small tests (hours, maybe days) will follow until late September, when far more invites will be sent and the game hopefully will run during the entire time.
But it's during October that Breach will truly open its doors to more players with the first Beta period. The goal of the studio is to exit Early Access in early 2019 and release Breach as a free-to-play game.
The Breach Steam page is live if you want to keep watching the game, and the official website is the place where you must register if you want to try your luck for an invite.
