CityBattle Virtual Earth is now in its European closed beta, with its sights set both on the open beta and a Steam release. Spanish company IDC Games is handling publishing duties for this shooter developed by Russian studio LLC Rikor.
The closed beta is running until further notice, being localized into English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, and Turkish. You can sign up to play at the official website. The open beta is slated to begin in October, with no date for the Steam release as of yet.
A free-to-play PC exclusive, CityBattle Virtual Earth is a game where players summon giant robots to dominate the Earth. You choose a city for your base, from Marseille to Beijing, New York or Moscow., among others, while trying to dominate the other cities. There are several robot classes, with each one having unique abilities such as stealth or power shield.
