After several months of anguish and torture, figuratively speaking, Android players are finally in for a treat. Thatgamecompany has revealed the Sky: Children of the Light Android release date, putting an end to the suspense and a series of delays that started in September 2019. In the meantime, iOS players are enjoying this magical adventure since July 2019, as the game amassed awards left and right.
Thatgamecompany is going to release Sky for Android in April 2020. Pre-registration is already available since the dawn of time, but for those who weren't aware of this wonderful game, it's always worth remembering that you can pre-register on the Play Store. While the Coronavirus aka Covid-19 wasn't to blame for the initial delays and the devs seemingly haven't mentioned anything about its interference during the past few months, it's not hard to think that it could have played an important role here. Still, we're just speculating.
Sky: Children of the Light is a whimsical game where you can travel with a few friends to amazing lands filled with wonder, surprises, and even some scares for good measure. It's a joy to play with friends or strangers, completing the quests or simply exploring the world, either on foot or flying.
Sky is also coming to PC and consoles, with the Switch being the first home system to get the game, later this year.
