Soldier Front 2 shows new modes, Alien scum galore

While Soldier Front 2 is nearing its closed beta, Aeria Games revealed a new trailer where aliens steal the limelight in several modes.

The hero mode gets players in a MOBA-like battle where two teams spawn alien creatures – known as Xanthids – and throw them against the enemy lines, while trying to shoot everything that moves in their direction. Two other game modes should be released shortly after launch: the co-op Defense mode (up to four players try to defend themselves against waves of aliens) and the Manhunt mode, where players choose between soldiers and aliens. Aliens come in three flavors: stealthy melee-attacking Rippers, speedy suicide-bombing Stunners, and projectile-launching Libertines.
