Spry Fox, designers on the retro MMO Realm of the Mad God, have just announced the closed beta date for their newest birds versus cats free-to-play 60-player bullet-hell MMO shooter. Steambirds Alliance enters closed beta on April 26.
The first closed beta is a short one, running from April 26 to April 28. You can sign up at the official Steambirds Alliance website.
To celebrate the announcement, a new trailer was released. Watch it below to get the feel for this game, where you and 59 other players control birds on planes trying to overthrow the evil cat overlord Meowza. Expect hundreds of unique enemies, tons of huge bosses and ship customization.
Steambirds Alliance releases this summer on PC and Mac, with console releases coming at a later date.
