Veterans Online closed beta is now live on Steam

The Veterans Online closed beta is now live on Steam after a few weeks of teasing. It should run for two months, give or take.

This top-down shooter was first available in Europe, but developer Nuked Cockroach quickly stepped up its game and opened more servers – now players from the following regions can enlist as well: US East, South America, Central Europe and Southeast Asia.

Currently Veterans Online offers a simple customization system. You have a few heads, torsos, legs and mounts to choose from. Oddly enough, you can change the skin tone and turn into some sort of zombie soldier if you so wish.

It's not easy to find a match, however; Veterans Online deserves a look, so hopefully more players will check it out and make matchmaking go smoother.
