Warframe sees its player base skyrocket with Plains of Eidolon update

Listen closely, for what I am about to tell you is surely a surprising fact. Reeeeally surprising: Warframe is even bigger than before.

The launch of the Plains of Eidolon update has boosted the player base of Warframe in about 50%, doubling the number of concurrent players to an all-time peak of 121,377. It's nothing short of extraordinary and Warframe players are quick to admit that this update is the best thing this shooter has seen since its release, although there are some kinks to be ironed out.

While PC players are already enjoying the update, those with a PlayStation 4 or a Xbox One will have to wait until later this year for a release. Hang in there, it's not long now.
