Warframe ramps up the fight with the Shrine of the Eidolon update

Warframe is getting a couple more titans for you to fight in the plains with the upcoming Shrine of the Eidolon update. This content is planned for this week, which leaves us… hmm… about two days before it's available. Talk about a late announcement – or maybe I missed something.

Anyway, the Shrine of the Eidolon update will introduce you to your two new best mates: Gantulyst and Hydrolyst. The former “wields an enormous boulder for an arm and radiates powerful beams of Sentient energy”, while the latter seems to have this distinct, pungent stench that precedes its arrival. Are we smelling in games already? Either way, it looks like a toxic green Eidolon.

Taking these Eidolons down will probably earn you some Riven Transmuters, consumable items that can transmute four Riven Mods into a brand-new Riven. The update also brings some Warframe and Weapon rebalancing. Watch the teaser trailer below.
