Red 5 Studios certainly took their sweet time with their first game, the free-to-play online shooter Firefall. After a long development cycle the studio is finally getting ready to launch the game on July 29th.
The team says that the game will launch with an update that is the largest the game has ever received, quadrupling the amount of world space and adding roughly 15-times the amount of content that players could try during the beta.
Firefall will include the usual microtransactions, with cosmetic and convenience upgrades available, and players who are ready to sink a lot of time in this game can purchase the launch packs at the official website. You can watch the Firefall launch trailer below, which sports the Heroes Play Free tagline, curiously resembling Warframe's Ninjas Play Free.
