Wuthering Waves is the new open world game from Punishing: Gray Raven devs

After receiving worldwide acclaim for its action RPG Punishing: Gray Raven, Chinese studio Kuro Game has revealed its next title. Called Wuthering Waves, there is little information about the game but we already know that it is an open world action RPG.

Wuthering Waves is set in a post-apocalyptic world 100 years after a disastrous event. Humanity is at the brink of extinction and this unidentified threat is still trying to stop the survivors from restoring civilization. As a wanderer, you wake up from a long sleep and will have to face these changes and discover what actually happened.

The first gameplay video – or at least a concept based on what the devs are shooting for – seems to show the fast and furious action gameplay of Punishing: Gray Raven in an open world setting. There's some wall-running, mountain climbing, and a feeling that this is a game to fit perfectly among Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy fans.
