The free-to-play platform fighting game Brawlhalla is welcoming four WWE Superstars to its roster. Today’s release of patch 3.47 adds The Rock, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and Xavier Woods to the brawl.
The new WWE Superstars characters are Epic Crossovers, which means that they bring custom Signature effects, their own Roster spots, custom lock-in animations and two new weapon skins. The four characters will be staying in the game after the conclusion of the event. In pure Brawlhalla tradition, these characters aren’t entirely new; The Rock, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and Xavier Wood are based on the abilities of Sentinel, Hattori, Gnash, and Bödvar, respectively.
The new WWE-themed game mode Brawldown brings a perfect replica of a ring where the WWE Superstars will be able to show their skills. This is a 2v2 mode with matches lasting for three minutes where you can use some objects to stun your enemies, in the tradition of WWE. Folding chairs and tables are up for grabs, adding to the diverse set of weapons that Brawlhalla offers.
To celebrate the release of this Brawlhalla WWE event you can get a daily login bonus of 250 Gold. The patch also brings several balance adjustments and quality of life improvements.
This isn’t the first time that Brawlhalla invites some famous guests to the arena. We’ve seen some unlikely stars finding their way to Blue Mammoth’s acclaimed brawler, such as Jake and Finn from Adventure Time or Rayman from the Ubisoft franchise. Other participations include Shovel Knight and Hellboy. All things considered, the WWE Superstars Brawlhalla crossover is the one that makes the most sense.
Ubisoft acquired Blue Mammoth Games in 2018, adding the potential for some exciting crossovers. When will players get the chance to pick Ezio Auditore and Sam Fisher in the arena, along with other Ubisoft characters?
