Zenless Zone Zero release date revealed, HoYoVerse’s next hit

With each new release, HoYoVerse tends to deliver another hit of sorts, and Zenless Zone Zero is likely the next in line. The maker of Genshin Impact has just revealed the Zenless Zone Zero release date after a series of betas, and it's right around the corner!

Zenless Zone Zero is going to release on July 4 for all platforms – PC, PS5, Android and iOS – and you can pre-register to gain the usual host of in-game rewards before the game launches. There is some big hype surrounding the game, as it was to be expected from the studio that brought us the amazing action RPG Genshin Impact, and the stunning tactical RPG Honkai Star Rail, among others.

Having participated in previous betas, we can say that Zenless Zone Zero (also stylized as ZZZ) is a fast and furious anime brawler that is heavy on narrative. You have the hub city of New Eridu to move around and explore lots of different options to upgrade your characters, and then you deep dive into the cybernetic dungeon crawler part, almost as a board game where you, a proxy, explore tiles and find rewards, with the occasional battle taking place.

When fighting, you get this HoYoverse style with the three characters that you can switch on-the-fly, but it's all much more focused on action and speed than in previous games.

The intriguing mix of tactics and action in Zenless Zone Zero is bound to make a lot of fans happy, so don't forget to pre-register.
